There have been numerous rumors about Apple developing an ultra-slim iPhone model, which could debut as the iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Slim. This new model is expected to replace the Plus variant in the iPhone 17 lineup. Now, a fresh set of leaked renders has surfaced, giving us a glimpse of the potential design of the upcoming device.

iPhone 17 Air Design

A recent YouTube video by renowned Apple tipster FrontPageTech showcases the rumored iPhone 17 Air design. However, it’s important to note that these renders are not official but are instead based on leaks, meaning the final design could differ from what is shown.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be one of the thinnest iPhones ever, with a thickness ranging between 5.5mm and 6mm. The most notable design change is the elongated horizontal camera module, which resembles the Google Pixel 9 series. This camera module spans across the rear panel, extending from the left corner to the right.

At the left end of the camera module, there is a single rear camera, while an LED flash is positioned on the right. The volume rocker and action button are placed on the left side of the device, while the power button is located on the right. The leaked render also suggests the inclusion of a dedicated camera control button. On the front, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to retain Apple’s Dynamic Island, but in a slimmer form, aligning with the device’s overall sleek profile.
