iQOO initially launched the iQOO Z9 Turbo in April this year, followed by the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ in September. Now, the brand is preparing to introduce a long-lasting battery variant of the lineup, officially named the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition. Over the past few weeks, iQOO has been teasing key features of this new model on Weibo. The company has now officially confirmed its launch date for China.
iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition launch date
The launch date for the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition was revealed in a Weibo post by the brand. The smartphone will debut in China on January 3rd, 2025, at 10:00 am local time (07:30 am IST), accompanied by a special sale starting at the same time.
Pre-orders for the device are already live on iQOO’s official website, as well as on other major Chinese e-commerce platforms. The iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition will retain the overall design of the iQOO Z9 Turbo while incorporating a significant upgrade to its battery, increasing capacity from 6,000mAh to 6,400mAh.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition will introduce a new Flying Blue color variant alongside the existing Black and White options. The phone’s core specifications will remain similar to the standard iQOO Z9 Turbo, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, with the larger battery being the only significant hardware change.
