Jio working with Lava, Itel, and Nokia to launch new 4G feature phones in India: Report

Dependency-backed In an effort to encourage more customers who are hesitant to switch to smartphones to use smart features, Jio unveiled the JioBharat feature phone series earlier this year. There are now three versions in the Bharat series, but the business reportedly intends to release more in the future. Jio’s President of Devices, Sunil Dutt, discussed the company’s goals and plans for 4G feature phones in the future.

The official JioBharat website lists the following three models: JioBharat V2, JioBharat B1, and JioBharat K1 Karbonn. These can be purchased for Rs 999, Rs 999, and Rs 1,299, in that order. These phones are unique in that they provide exclusive 4G monthly plans. A Rs 123 recharge package with a 28-day validity is presently available from Jio. This provides access to the JioCinema and JioSaavn apps, as well as 14GB of 4G data, 300 SMS per day, and unlimited calls.
