Jio launches India’s first operating system for Smart TVs with a marketing name – JioTele OS in India which will provide a premium and rich-content at an affordable price. This is based on AI-powered recommendations that will make the user experience better and seamless. Here’s everything you need to know about JioTele OS. 

JioTele OS launched on Smart TVs in India 

JioTele OS (operating system) aims to provide fast, premium, and rich-content Smart TV platform. According to the Jio statement, they’ll serve the growing on-demand content for Smart TVs and enable OEMs to provide a better and faster experience to the users through the content at an affordable price.

With the AI-powered recommendations, JioTele OS will give you a seamless experience that will be integrated to global and regional content. Plus, it supports leading apps as well. The brand also claimed that it will provide 4K and best quality on every content that will enhance the user experience, as it is partnering with popular brands such as Thomson, BPL, Kodak and JVC. 

Additionally, the platform claims to offer a vast library of TV channels, OTT apps, cloud games, etc. On the other hand, the brand promises that they will push the regular software updates to ensure the JioTele OS stays compatible with content formats, newly launched applications, and securities. 

JioTele OS availability for Smart TVs 

The platform will be available for every single user from February 21st which will be only powered by the JioTele OS Smart TVs. However, Jio says that they are working to add more names to the list in 2025 to enhance the user experience much better. 

As of now, the company allows you to stream your on-demand content with over 800+ TV channels, OTT apps, and many more via IPSTB (Internet Protocol set-top-box) with its broadband connection. This way, users are able to watch a variety of contents on a single platform with their own choice and options.
