Apple is reportedly working on iPhone 17 series and it might launch this year with an additional model: the iPhone 17 Air. The iPhone 17 leaks and rumours are surfacing online. Although a new image leak shows the thickness of the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 17 Air is said to be the slimmest phone yet from Apple if the leaks would be true. Leaked images reveals the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro thickness
A famous tipster, Majin Bu, shared the leaked image on his X/Twitter handle of the upcoming iPhone 17 Air and 17 Pro which look like 3D-printed models. The image reveals the thickness of both phones which are similar to each other. The right model shown in the image is the iPhone 17 Air, while the left one is the iPhone 17 Pro. The differences are clearly visible in the image side by side where you can easily identify the phone thickness.
The leaks suggest the iPhone 17 Air will measure 5.5mm in thickness and if it is true, it would be the first slimmest iPhone from Apple yet. In comparison, the slimmest phone from Apple is the iPhone 16e which measures 6.9mm in thickness. The previous leaks claimed that iPhone 17 Air will feature a large pill-shaped camera module with a single camera and a flashlight at the back similar to the Google Pixel 9.
The iPhone 17 Pro will come with the same design like its predecessor but with some changes. It will feature a triple camera setup at the back similar to iPhone 16 Pro. Plus, the LED flashlight, microphone, and LiDAR scanner will be placed on the right edge of the camera bar. In addition, the leaks confirmed that iPhone 17 series will get MagSafe charging support. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to launch this year in September. This would be the fourth model in the iPhone 17 series.
