Mediatek announced its new SoC under the Dimensity 6000 SoC series for 5G devices, According to the company Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC offers Premium features with power efficiency and integrated with AI features.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ Specifications
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC has two ARM Cortex – A76 bid cores, Size ARM Cortex – A55 efficiency cores which offers improved performance, AI powered cameras, 10 – Bit displays and amazing UX and GPU performance and the SoC has Mali – G57 MC2 GPU.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ Supports up to 10 – bit display which can produce more than one billion colors for high quality and vibrant images and videos. The SoC also supports 90Hz to 120Hz refresh rate.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ supports up to 108MP Non – ZSL camera up to 2K at 30FPS video recording and the camera of SoC also has AI – Bokeh for amazing Portrait and selfies and AI color technology to Process high Quality images.
In terms of Power consumption Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ has Meditk Ultrasave 3.0+ technology and according to the company the 5G power consumption is reduced by 20 percent compared to the competitive options.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ supports Wi – Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS (L1CA+L5), BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, Navic, 4G carrier aggregation. In the 5G section the SoC has an enhanced model which supports 3GPP release 16 standard up to 140MHz 2CC 5G carrier aggregation and support SA/NSA modes.
Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 Internal storage.
Devices availability with Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC
Mediatek has three Dimensity number SoC series which is 6000 SoC series which is for budget 5G devices, 7000 SoC series which is for the mid – range device, Dimensity 8000 SoC series for Premium Mid – range device and the Dimensity 9000 SoC series for the flagship devices.
The device with Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ SoC will be available in the market from Q3 i.e third quarter of 2023.
