MediaTek announced the Dimensity 9400+ processor, bringing cutting-edge AI and performance. This chipset is an upgrade over the previous Dimensity 9400, bringing huge improvements to the NPU that help boost AI performance. The new MediaTek 9400+ chipset also brings upgrades in CPU, GPU, and energy efficiency.
MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ Processor Details
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset features a 1 × 3.73GHz Cortex X925 up to 3.73GHz CPU configuration with prime core at 3 × 3.30GHz Cortex X4 1MB L2 cache and 4 × 2.40GHz Cortex A720 512KB L2 cache.
MediaTek claimed that they are providing MediaTek Frame Rate converter (MFRC) 2.0 with up to 40% power saving for boosting gaming with HyperEngine. They are also providing 20% faster agentic AI performance with Speculative Decoding+ (SpD+).
