Meta is reportedly working to launch its more advanced version of its Meta AI glasses later this year. The Meta Ray-Ban AI smart glasses will arrive as a codename ‘Hypernova.’ However, the company is planning to introduce its Meta smart glasses soon by bringing significant improvements and features. These Meta smart glasses prices are expected to be priced over $1,000 (Rs 85,597 approximately). Here’s what you need to know.

According to a Bloomberg report, Meta is reportedly working to bring its first Meta AI smart glasses with advanced functionalities. The smart glasses will be named ‘Hypernova’ as a codename. The smart glasses will come with a single screen (Monocular panel) to display app icons, images and videos information. In addition, the display shows the information from phone apps including WhatsApp and Messenger.
The screen will be positioned in the lower right section of the right lens, so when users glance downward with their right eye, the information will appear directly in their line of sight. The report also stated that the home screen will include circular icons and it will have a dedicated application for capturing videos and images, viewing pictures, and accessing maps.
The Meta Hypernova smart glasses will come with built-in microphone support which is the same as the Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses that lets you pair your device for music playback and calls. Meta is offering many features on their Meta AI smart glasses including from software to camera. However, the company has now started focusing on its second generation version with ‘Hypernova 2′ codename to bring it on time. Although the Hypernova 2 include a binocular panel or two displays and it will expected to arrive in 2027.
