- Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy S25 smartphone lineup.
- The flagship S25 Ultra, as usual, comes with the support of the S-Pen.
- But it looks like the S25 Ultra’s S-Pen has no support for Bluetooth and hence, no advanced features.
Samsung still uses the Galaxy Note’s S-Pen feature in its premium S series devices. The S25 Ultra is the latest model in the lineup, and it also has the S-Pen. However, the company has now downgraded the stylus’s functionality by removing the Bluetooth connectivity option.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t have Bluetooth S-Pen in any way
There has been a lot of buzz in the tech community ever since it was announced that the S-Pen on Galaxy S25 Ultra has no Bluetooth support. Some users and a blog from Samsung Insights claimed that those who want to use a Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen can buy it separately. However, the claim has been rejected by the brand.
Samsung recently confirmed to the known publication Android Authority that this was erroneous and the Galaxy S25 Ultra will not support Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen. This means that even if you buy a Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen, it will not provide Bluetooth-enabled features to the device.
The blog that contained false information has now been removed. As a result, there is no way to use a Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen with the Galaxy S25 Ultra because the device does not support it. The brand has justified the removal of the Bluetooth function by stating that very few users actually utilized this feature.
