The OnePlus 13, the brand’s upcoming flagship smartphone, is set to launch in China soon, followed by a global release. Recently, the device has been at the center of several leaks. Now, a fresh leak from a reputed source reveals key details about its display.
OnePlus 13 display details leaked
The latest information comes from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. According to the leak, the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a BOE X2 Oriental screen, offering a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also utilize 8T LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology, which supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 0.5Hz to 120Hz.
Additionally, the screen will feature an ultra-ceramic crystal glass coating for added durability. For security, the device will include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It will also offer a “super eye-care” mode to reduce eye strain during extended use, suggesting the inclusion of PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technology. The display is expected to have soft, rounded edges with deep curvature, contributing to a sleek and immersive design.
Moreover, OnePlus has customized the light cavity structure and redesigned the circuit layout, which is said to significantly enhance both brightness and the display’s longevity. One of the standout innovations is the secondary screen calibration, performed directly at the SoC (System-on-Chip) level. This process is claimed to provide the world’s highest purity in low gray-scale effects, setting new industry standards.
