OnePlus has confirmed that its Ace 5 series of smartphones will launch in China this December. While the exact date remains undisclosed, a OnePlus executive has shared an official preview of the device’s front design ahead of the release.
OnePlus Ace 5 design revealed
Louis Lee, President of OnePlus China, took to Weibo to unveil the front design of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5. The smartphone features a flat display with ultra-thin bezels and a metal middle frame. The screen includes a centered hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, while the volume rocker and power button are positioned along the right edge.
The device is likely equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, though no additional specifications were disclosed in the post. However, OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
More information about the OnePlus Ace 5 series is expected in the lead-up to its official launch. According to earlier reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 will be introduced to global markets under the name OnePlus 13R.
