Recently, OnePlus teased about its First foldable phone OnePlus Open. According to recent reports, OnePlus Open will launch later this month. But now according to the latest reports, OnePlus Open launch has been delayed due to display upgrade issues.

In an earlier launch of the OnePlus 11 series in India, OnePlus teased an foldable phone teaser with “Coming Q3” Possibly the OnePlus Open will launch in September.

OnePlus Open launch delay

According to earlier reports, OnePlus Open will launch on August 29th in New York. But Now according to tipster Max Jambor the reason behind the launch delay of the OnePlus Open is Firstly, OnePlus will use the displays on the OnePlus Open which is supplied by BOE.

Now, OnePlus will use the displays supplied by Samsung which is a kind of upgrade. But for now there is no new expected launch date of the OnePlus Open.

OnePlus Open (expected) Specifications

OnePlus Open will be Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with 7.8-inch Primary 2K AMOLED display, 6.3-inch Cover AMOLED display and both displays will come with 120Hz refresh rate. In the camera section, the OnePlus Open has 48MP Primary sensor with OIS, 48MP Ultra-wide sensor, 64MP Telephoto sensor with LED flash and 32MP Front camera.

OnePlus Open has a 4800mAh battery with 67W Charging and the device will run on Android 13 with Oxygen OS on top. OnePlus Open will also feature: 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and Side – mounted Fingerprint sensor, Stereo speakers.

OnePlus Open offers up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 Internal storage.
