According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is expected to be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The tablet is likely to debut in the first half of 2025 and is positioned as a gaming and esports-focused device.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is rumored to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device is also said to feature a custom 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution. Previous leaks suggested that the OnePlus Pad Pro’s successor would include a 13-inch “Huaxing” LCD display with a 3,840 x 2,400 pixels resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
