- The typo mistake on the backplate won’t affect the user’s experience anymore.
OnePlus launched its OnePlus Watch 3 globally with two color variants similar to its predecessor. The watch brings a new functionality and design compared to the Watch 2. This time, the Watch 3 is slightly different with a bigger display and an improved battery life. However, the OnePlus Watch 3 is going viral on the internet due to a typo on the watch backplate. Here’s everything you need to know.
OnePlus Watch 3 “Meda in China” Typo
When a product has been launched in any country, a tag or labels are printed on the backplate or side lower-frame. Although, many products have a “Made in X (country of manufacturing)” tag on the backplate, particularly on a watch, earbuds, and smartphones-box. Many users spotted a typo on the OnePlus Watch 3 backplate with “Meda in China” engraving instead of “Made in China” printing.
A Reddit user, Maniac 1688, pointed out this typo on his OnePlus Watch 3 steel backplate with “Meda in China” engraving. However, this is just not a single typo found on the Watch 3, the incidents typically appears on the other units of the Watch 3, which shouldn’t be actually.
The brand should need to check units carefully before launching globally. The official render on OnePlus official’s site also had the same typo on the watch backplate. Although the image has now been removed from the site. But what my opinion regarding the brand is they shouldn’t be launch a product before completing checking a unit.
