OPPO is launching the OPPO A5 Pro 5G in India next week as the successor to last year’s OPPO A3 Pro 5G. The device has already been launched in China and now it’s going to launch for the Indian market but it will be quite different compared to China’s model. The brand has officially announced the launch date and design of the device. Here’s everything you need to know.
OPPO A5 Pro 5G design and colour options revealed
- The OPPO A5 Pro 5G is launching in India on April 24th, 2025.
The brand has shared an image on its X/Twitter official handle where the smartphone appears in a squircle camera module with two cameras and a flashlight. The brand has teased the device in a Brownish colour. Although another colour isn’t confirmed yet. The upcoming device will feature certified IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The device is said to come with a damage-proof 360-degree armour body as well.
Coming to the battery, the OPPO A5 Pro 5G is confirmed to be packed with a 5,800mAh battery capacity with 45W fast charging support. While the China model comes with a 6,000mAh battery cell with 85W fast charging support. So the upcoming device is a downgrade in terms of battery. The OPPO A5 Pro 5G is expected to launch with a 6.7-inch display similar to the China variant.
The China variant is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. As of now, the chipset is not confirmed for the Indian variant. The launch is close for us, so we can expect more details in the coming days. Stay tuned!
