OPPO is reportedly working on the F29 series, which is the successor of the OPPO F27 lineup. This new series is expected to include at least two models: the OPPO F29 Pro and OPPO F29 Pro+. Earlier this month, some key specifications of the OPPO F29 series leaked online. Although the brand hasn’t confirmed anything about the device and launch timeline, maybe soon we will hear from the brand. Now, more details about the hardware and expected price range of both the OPPO F29 Pro and F29 Pro+ in India have been leaked. Here’s everything you need to know.
OPPO F29 Pro Specifications (Expected)
A tipster, Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter) said that OPPO F29 Pro and F29 Pro+ are launching in India soon. However, they haven’t mentioned the exact launch timeline. The tipster claimed that OPPO F29 Pro will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. In addition, the device will come in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB of storage.
Moreover, the OPPO F29 Pro will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will pack a 6,000mAh battery capacity and 80W fast charging. Regarding the camera, it will have a 50MP OIS primary camera and a 2MP dual camera along with 16MP front camera for selfie. Plus, the device will come with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
OPPO F29 Pro+ Specifications (Expected)
The OPPO F29 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The device will come in three variants: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. In addition, the F29 Pro+ will pack a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 80W fast charging. Compared to F27 Pro+, this would be a great jump from a 5,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging support
Additionally, the OPPO F29 Pro+ will have a curved display and an IP69 rating as well for water and dust resistance. The brand hasn’t confirmed any key specifications of the OPPO F29 Pro and F29 Pro+. Maybe, they’ll release other details in the near future.
Regarding the pricing, Abhishek Yadav on X claimed that the OPPO F29 Pro is said to come with under Rs 25,000 and F29 Pro+ for under Rs 30,000. In comparison with F27 Pro and F27 Pro+, they were launched at Rs 22,999 and 27,999 for the base variant respectively. Therefore, the upcoming F29 lineup will be available under Rs 30,000 itself.
