OPPO’s Find Series Product Head, Zhou Yibao, recently engaged with users on Weibo to gather feedback on the upcoming foldable smartphone. He asked fans to highlight their most desired upgrades for the next-generation foldable, focusing on aspects like weight, performance, battery life, imaging, wireless charging, and AI features. The feedback from this poll strongly hints that OPPO will skip the “N4” branding and go directly to the Find N5.
OPPO Find N5 Launch Timeline
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OPPO Find N5 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 50MP triple-camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens, wireless charging support, and ColorOS 15.
Compared to its predecessor, the Find N5 is expected to be lighter, thinner, and more durable, with features like anti-fall construction and IPX8 waterproofing. Additionally, the device will boast longer battery life and enhanced performance.
While OPPO has not confirmed an official launch date, the Find N5 is expected to make its debut in China during Q1 2025. If launched on time, it may become the world’s first foldable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
