OPPO has officially announced the upcoming launch of its foldable flagship, the Find N5, in China next month. As the release date approaches, the company has started teasing key features of the device, focusing on its thinness and waterproof ratings.
OPPO Find N5 Key Details Teased
Zhou Yibao, Product Manager for the OPPO Find series, shared images on Weibo comparing the thickness of the Find N5 with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, a USB-C port, coins, and credit cards.
The comparison revealed that the Find N5 is significantly thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Its single-side thickness is approximately equal to a USB-C port, comparable to the combined thickness of two coins or four credit cards. According to Zhou, this makes the Find N5 the thinnest foldable smartphone in the world.
In addition, OPPO has released a teaser video showcasing the Find N5’s enhanced waterproof features. Zhou also confirmed that the Find N5 is the only foldable flagship to support IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 waterproof ratings.
