OPPO introduced its Find X8 series in October 2024 in China, debuting with the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models. The series later expanded to India and other global markets. Now, new reports suggest that OPPO is developing its first “mini” smartphone, the OPPO Find X8 Mini, which could rival Vivo’s X200 Pro mini. A prominent Chinese tipster has revealed key specifications for this device.

Renowned Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has shared details about an upcoming OPPO smartphone. Although the specific model name was not confirmed, industry insiders believe the leaks pertain to the OPPO Find X8 Mini.
The device is rumored to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset and is expected to feature a 6.31-inch LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution.
In terms of optics, the smartphone is tipped to house a 50MP triple-camera system, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX9 series primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens and 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The Find X8 Mini is also rumored to sport a premium design with a metal mid-frame and a glass body. It may support wireless charging and come equipped with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
