OPPO has officially revealed the launch date for its upcoming Find X8 series in China. The series will succeed the OPPO Find X7 lineup, which was released earlier this year in January.
OPPO Find X8 Series Launch Date
OPPO confirmed the launch of the Find X8 series through a Weibo post, announcing that the new devices will debut on October 24 in China. The OPPO Find X8 series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, marking the first batch of devices to feature this processor, jointly developed by OPPO and MediaTek. Additionally, the phones are expected to come pre-installed with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to include two models, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, which will launch in China on the 24th. According to recent leaks, the devices will also be introduced to global markets soon after. Meanwhile, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra is rumored to arrive early next year, potentially featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
OPPO Find X8 series specifications (expected)
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC.
- Display: OPPO Find X8 is expected to feature a flat 6.5-inch display, while the Find X8 Pro will likely come with a larger 6.7-inch curved screen. Both devices will support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Cameras: OPPO Find X8 is rumored to sport a triple-camera setup, including a periscope lens. OPPO Find X8 Pro could feature a quad-camera array, comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 3x telephoto lens, and a 10x periscope telephoto lens.
- Battery & Charging: OPPO Find X8 is expected to pack a 5700mAh battery, while the OPPO Find X8 Pro model might have a slightly larger 5800mAh battery. They are expected to support 80W and 100W fast charging, respectively.
- Software: Both devices will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15.
- Connectivity & Other features: IP69 rating, Alert slider, and a dedicated camera control button for photography.
