OnePlus has unveiled OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14. Google, which has not yet made this newest major version of Android officially available, has fallen behind. So, a few OnePlus phones will be the first to receive Android 14features. Let’s learn more about the OxygenOS 14 update and the devices that can receive it shortly.

Features of OxygenOS 14

Trinity Engines: Trinity, according to OnePlus, describes “the close relationship between powerful hardware, wise software, and the user experience.” It is a proprietary software platform made up of the following 6 optimizations such as

  • CPU vitalization for allocating CPU resources in a way that prioritizes efficiency and performance.
  • ROM Vitalisation uses methods including file defragmentation, memory acceleration, and compression algorithms to prolong the life of storage on your OnePlus phones.
  • RAM Vitalization uses techniques like I/O Aggregation Technology, App Pre-loading, Memory Zero-waiting, Asynchronous Memory Technology, and Instant Bandwidth Technology to speed up startup times, app switching between sessions, and overall UI smoothness by up to 10%.
  • HyperTouch to speed up touch response rates and reduce accidental touches.
  • HyperBoost provides a better gaming experience while using less power and heat dissipation methods such as adaptive performance mode.
  • In games, HyperRendering is used for frame interpolation to computationally improve the image quality beyond hardware constraints.

File Dock

On your OnePlus phone, File Dock will function like a sidebar where you can store any type of text, image, link, or file, and OxygenOS 14 will make this dock available everywhere. To choose content from the majority of system applications and third-party apps, you only need to long-press.

Notes 2.0

The backdrop color, fonts, font size, and other formatting options are available in the OxygenOS Notes app. Additionally, you may include photographs and modify your notes using fast discover and search capabilities, break lines, underlining, and strikethrough.

Smart cutout

Similar to the Cutout Function on iOS devices, OxygenOS 14’s Smart Cutout feature enables you to long-touch a picture and remove a person or animal from it. The isolated piece can now be shared or copied and pasted anywhere. At once, it can recognize three subjects.

Connect 2.0 for multiple screens

You can use this program to link OnePlus smartphones and tablets running OxygenOS 14 and share files and work between them. Even better, it can automatically reconnect previously associated devices without any help from the user.

2.0 of Clone Phone

The Wallet app’s content including registered cards, the settings for your OnePlus watch, and other network and account-related items can all be synced from your old OnePlus device to the new device using this app.

The OxygenOS 14 has other features such as up to 15GB of Google Photos storage that is accessible via the OnePlus Cloud. Therefore, there are numerous features to explore and test out.
