Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, the successor to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The latest chipset introduces enhancements in performance, efficiency, gaming, AI, camera capabilities, and audio processing.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Mobile Platform Details
According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 offers 11% faster CPU performance, 29% improved GPU performance and 12% better power efficiency compared to Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
Notably, this is the first chipset in the Snapdragon 6 series to be manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process. Previous iterations were built on Samsung’s 4nm node and TSMC’s 6nm node.
Qualcomm also confirmed that smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC will be launched by Realme, OPPO, and HONOR in the coming months.
