Qualcomm unwrapped its new SoC for smartphones under the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series and it is the Chipset for Premium device, but it isn’t a Flagship SoC it is close to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Specifications
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has a Cortex-Z2 Performance core clocked at 2.91GHz and three Cortex A710 bulk cores clocked at 2.49GHz and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz and according to reports, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has around 50% improvement compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
In the Graphics section Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 has 2x more powerful GPU which is 25% high benchmark score on Graphics test and 65% high scores in Geekbench 1080P test and it also features: Adreno Frame Motion engine, AI super rendering, Volumetric rendering and etc.
In the AI section it has a 2x more powerful AI engine that can deliver 40% more power and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Chipset is based or fabricated on TSMC 4nm architecture.
When will the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 Powered device be available in the market?
According to the reports, Redmi, Realme smartphone will soon launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 will be priced around Rs 30,000-40,000.
