Redmi K80 series official details
During a recent live broadcast, Thomas Wang, Redmi’s General Manager, shared insights into the Redmi K80 series. A Weibo user summarized this broadcast in a post, offering fans a glimpse into the latest updates.
According to Wang, the Redmi K80 series will feature two models: the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. Notably, there will be no Redmi K80E model, which would have succeeded the Redmi K70E. Both the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro will run on Android 15 with HyperOS 2.
The Redmi K80 series promises significant upgrades in performance, display, battery life, and camera quality, featuring an enhanced texture and a fresh design. The devices are also expected to come with a metal frame. Although the Redmi K80 series will be priced higher than its predecessor, the increase is expected to deliver worthwhile improvements.
