Following the launch of the Redmi Note 14 series in China, which includes the Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+, the global release of these models seems imminent. According to a recent certification listing, Redmi is likely preparing to introduce the devices to the international market.
Redmi Note 14 5G Global variant clears SDPPI certification
According to a report from The Tech Outlook, the global variant of the Redmi Note 14 5G has recently received certification from Indonesia’s SDPPI (Sertifikasi Perangkat Telekomunikasi), a major telecommunications certification authority in the country.
This certification is a key indicator that the Redmi Note 14 5G will soon make its way to the Asian markets. The certification listing confirms the official name of the device as “Redmi Note 14 5G” and associates it with the model number 24094RAD4G.
The smartphone was also earlier spotted in databases for the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) in the U.S. and the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), confirming that a European launch is also in the pipeline. Though the certification listings reveal little in the way of technical specifications, it is widely anticipated that the global variant of the Redmi Note 14 5G will carry similar hardware and software features as its Chinese counterpart.
