After a series of teasers and leaks, Redmi has officially announced the launch date of the Redmi Turbo 4 for the Chinese market. Alongside the announcement, the brand has also unveiled official renders of the smartphone.
Redmi Turbo 4 launch date and render
In a recent post on Weibo, Redmi confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be launched in China on January 2nd at 2:00 PM CST (11:30 AM IST). The company also revealed the phone’s design with images showcasing the device in the Cloud White color variant.
The promotional poster features Fan Zhendong, a Chinese table tennis champion and Olympic gold medalist, who serves as the phone’s brand ambassador. Redmi describes the Turbo 4’s design as “sleek and refined”, with a slightly curved frame offering a comfortable grip.
In terms of design, The smartphone sports a dual-camera setup on the back, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens. Up front, the phone boasts a flat display with a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
Redmi has confirmed that the Turbo 4 will be the first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset. The company has also announced that the phone will be available for purchase immediately following its launch. Globally and in India, the device is expected to debut under the POCO brand as the POCO X7 Pro in January.
