How to fix Aadhar Card issues?
- Online: Log in to the Aadhar self-service update portal using an Aadhaar number, OTP, and captcha code, then select the error you want to fix, such as your name, date of birth, address, phone number, or photo after making a change, and upload scan documents that support the updates.
- By phone: To contact the Unique Identification Authority of India toll-free number at 1947, the content center has an interactive voice response system and individual support executives who can help in various languages.

Lost/Forgotten Aadhar
The last written Aadhaar number can be retrieved online by visiting the following link: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/retrieve-eid-uid.
Process: Please select the required Aadhar ID you want to retrieve and enter your full name as in the Aadhar mobile number email link with Aadhar and Captcha followed by OTP. After mobile OTP-based authentication, the Aadhar number ID as per request will be sent to SMS to the linked mobile number. This service is free of cost.
How do I apply for a duplicate Aadhar card?
If you misplace your Aadhar Card, you can get a duplicate online
- Step 1: Go to the UIDAI website.
- Step 2: Select the Aadhar number, UID, or enrollment number EID
- Step 3: Enter your name, email address, or mobile number.
- Step 4: Enter the security code.
- Step 5: Click send OTP.
- Step 6: Enter the OTP sent to your email or mobile number.
- Step 7: Click my Aadhar
- Step 8: Choose the Aadhar reprint order
- Step 9: Enter your Aadhaar number or virtual ID.
- Step 10: confirm details and pay
- Step 11: Download the duplicate Aadhar card.
