Samsung introduced the budget-friendly Galaxy A06 4G smartphone in India back in September. Now, a new Geekbench listing suggests that the company is gearing up to launch its 5G counterpart. The benchmark listing sheds light on the device’s processor, RAM, and operating system, hinting at its imminent release.
Samsung Galaxy A06 5G Geekbench details
A device with the model number SM-A066B, believed to be the Samsung Galaxy A06 5G, has been spotted on Geekbench. For comparison, the 4G variant of the Galaxy A06 bears the model number SM-A065F.
As per the Geekbench listing, the device is powered by an octa-core processor with two performance cores clocked at 2.40 GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.00 GHz. Paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, the configuration strongly points to the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC powering the device.
The listing also reveals that the Galaxy A06 5G will come with 4GB of RAM and run on the latest Android 15 operating system. In terms of performance benchmarks, the device scored 731 points in single-core tests and 1816 points in multi-core tests.
