Samsung is adding two new members to its popular budget smartphone lineup, the Galaxy M-series. The firm was teasing the launch of the upcoming devices for quite a few days and now, the official launch date has been released.
Samsung Galaxy M06 and M16 5G confirmed to launch in India
Samsung has officially confirmed that they will launch the Galaxy M06 and M16 5G smartphone in India on February 27th. The launch will take place at 12PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
We don’t know much about the upcoming devices, but both of them would be compatible with the 5G network. The teaser also reveals that the vanilla M06 will get dual rear cameras whereas the M16 will get a triple rear camera. The devices will go on sale in the country via popular e-commerce platform, Amazon.
The Galaxy M06 is expected to come with a 4GB RAM base variant and a high-end variant with 6GB RAM. The Galaxy M16, on the other hand, is expected to start with 6GB RAM as base. It may be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 mobile chipset. But since all this information is nothing but rumour, let’s wait till the official launch to get full details of the device.
