The South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the launch of the new Galaxy M series smartphone, the Galaxy M56 5G, in India. The device will be officially announced on April 17th. The brand has also revealed some of the key specifications of the gadget.
Samsung Galaxy M56 5G: Key specifications and launch date
As per the official teaser, the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will pack a Super AMOLED+ display with 36% slimmer bezels and a 33% brighter panel compared to the predecessor. For cameras, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary wide lens, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it will have a 12-megapixel selfie snapper.
Interestingly, Samsung claims that the device will be able to record 10-bit HDR videos from other front and rear cameras. The device will measure 7.2mm in thickness, and per the claims, this is as much as 30% slimmer compared to its predecessor, Galaxy M55.
As for the processor, the company has not revealed any details about it. However, the device was previously listed on the Geekbench platform, which reveals that it will be powered by the Exynos 1480 processor. The benchmark also reveals 8GB of RAM.
