Samsung launched the Galaxy M55 with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset in March 2024. Now, a year later, the brand is gearing up to release its successor, the Galaxy M56. Ahead of its official launch, the device has been spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing key details about its hardware and performance.
Samsung Galaxy M56 Geekbench details
An unannounced Samsung device with the model number SM-M566B was recently listed on Geekbench (via XpertPick). While the listing does not confirm the marketing name, it is widely believed to be the Samsung Galaxy M56.
According to the benchmark listing, the Galaxy M56 is powered by an octa-core chipset featuring four high-performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz and four efficiency cores running at 2.05GHz. The source code also confirms that the chipset includes the Xclipse 530 GPU, which strongly suggests that the device is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor.
The listing further reveals that the Galaxy M56 will come with 8GB of RAM, though additional RAM variants may be introduced at launch. The smartphone will run on Android 15 out of the box.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy M56 achieved a Single-Core Score of 1153 and a Multi-Core Score of 3456 on the Geekbench database.
