Samsung Galaxy S21 series gets the One UI 7 update
The rollout of One UI 7 has begun for the Galaxy S21 series devices in South Korea, carrying firmware version G99xNKSU8HYD9, with other markets to follow shortly. Galaxy S21 owners can manually check for the update through their device settings.
The latest Android 15-based One UI 7 update represents the last major operating system upgrade for the Galaxy S21 series, which first launched with Android 11 three years ago. While security patches will continue every quarter, this concludes the device’s journey through major Android version updates.
Users will be able to see a fresh UI design, be it in terms of icons, control centre or other elements. The firm has also added tons of new AI-based features. The integration of Google Gemini is also much better now.
