After a long delay, Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 update to all of its eligible devices. The Galaxy S23 series has now started getting the One UI 7 update in the Indian region. It brings many new changes, including the latest month’s security patch.
Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup gets One UI 7 update
The One UI 7, based on the Android 15 update, is now live for the Galaxy S23 series users in India. The update has a total size of around 5GB for regular users and around 900MB for users already enrolled in the beta testing program. The build number of the update is S911BXXU8DYD9 / S911BOXM8DYD9 / S911BXXU8DYD9.
The update brings many new changes, such as Gemini integration to Calendar, Clock, Notes app, and other AI features such as transcription and summarisation of recorded calls. The update also introduces the now bar and live notification for real-time updates.
Many UI elements, such as buttons, icons, widgets and control centre, are also retouched to give a fresh and modern look. The April 2025 security patch is also live with the update. The UI is also faster and more elegant than before.
