Samsung will launch its flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 series in early 2024 and the lineup carries Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S24 Ultra. Now Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera details are tipped, leaks suggest Galaxy S24 series will come with satellite connectivity like iPhone.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series satellite connectivity
A screenshot via SAMMOBILE, shows that Samsung will call the Satellite connectivity as ‘Emergency texts via satellite’ under this heading mentions “If you call emergency services when you’re out of range or not connected to a mobile network, we’ll connect you via satellite network so you can send an emergency text”.
This feature is expected to work the same as iPhones, you can send text messages with your GPS location to emergency response teams so you can get help. This feature is expected to be available on Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung is said to have developed its 5G NTN technology which offers two-way satellite communication. This meets the standard defined by the 3GPP. There are chances the features could be limited to some markets initially and expand to other markets gradually.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra camera details
According to a report by The Elec, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will come with a 200MP wide-angle primary sensor, 12MP Ultra-wide-angle lens, 10MP 10x zoom sensor, 50MP 5x camera. Samsung will use its own 200MP sensor while it will split the supply for the 12MP ultra-wide sensor with Namuga and Sunny Optical.
As per reports, Sunny Optical and Samsung will supply 10x and 5x cameras, 12MP Front camera will be supplied by Namuga and MCNEX. Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus might feature 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor,10MP 3x zoom.
As per reports, Samsung is aiming to ship 35.3 million units of Samsung Galaxy S24 series where 15.9 million are Galaxy S24 Ultra, 13.5 million are Galaxy S24, 5.8 million are Galaxy S24 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 6.8-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display coupled with 120Hz refresh rate. In the camera section Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has 200MP Primary sensor, 12MP Ultra – wide angle lens, 50MP Periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, 10MP Telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom with LED flash and 12MP Front camera.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has 5000mAh battery with 45W Wired display and the device runs on android 14 with One UI 6 on top. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra also features 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi – Fi, GPS, Titanium Frame, IP68 rating, In – display fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB Internal storage, Possibly the device will also come with 24GB RAM.
