The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone was reported to launch this month (April) on the 15th. However, it looks like the company has pushed back the launch date as a new report claims that the device will launch a month later, in May.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is now reportedly launching on May 15th
As per a new report from South Korean publication ET News, Samsung has reportedly postponed the launch date of its Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone to May or June. Adding to it, another report from SamMobiles claims that the exact launch date of the gadget is now scheduled for May 13th. This marks the delay of nearly a month.
The exact reason behind the push in the launch date remains unknown. Also, the company is reportedly planning to do an online-only launch event rather than a full-blown physical global event
Concerning the specifications, rumours tell us that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will pack a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the rear, it will get a dual-camera setup with a 200-megapixel primary lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. There would be a 10-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. It may get a 3,900mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
