Samsung appears to be working on the Galaxy S25 FE, the follow-up to last year’s Galaxy S24 FE, which debuted in October. While the official launch is still months away, a new report has shed light on its processor.
Exynos 2400 SoC could power the Galaxy S25 FE
According to a report by Android Authority, the Galaxy S25 FE is internally codenamed R13. For context, the Galaxy S24 FE carried the R12 codename, and the S23 FE was associated with R11. This confirms the continuity in development for Samsung’s FE lineup.
The report points to the device using the Exynos 2400/2400e chipset, identified by the internal part number S5e9945. This is the same processor that powered the Galaxy S24 FE, suggesting that Samsung might be continuing with its Exynos strategy for its affordable flagship series.
As for the launch timeline, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE sometime in late Q3 or early Q4, in line with previous FE releases.
