Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S25 series, but shortly after its official release, some users of the Galaxy S25 Ultra reported a camera glitch affecting night mode photography.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Camera Issue and Fix
Users on Reddit and Samsung’s community forums (via Tom’s Guide) have noticed an unusual banding issue in night-time shots. Affected users reported that multiple bands appear across their photos, particularly near the edges, while images captured in other camera modes remain unaffected.
Samsung has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a software update will address it. The fix is set to roll out starting this week. “We are aware of a limited number of cases where images appear blurred when taking photos in Night Mode on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and have issued a fix in the next software update, rolling out starting this week,” Samsung stated.
While the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the primary device experiencing this problem, the fix is expected to be available for the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ as well. Given the Galaxy Ultra series’ reputation for having one of the best smartphone cameras, this update should ensure a seamless photography experience moving forward.
