Samsung Galaxy S25 series launch details
According to South Korea’s The Financial News report, Samsung has set the Galaxy S25 series launch for January 23rd, 2025. The Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to take place on this date in San Francisco, USA.
However, tipster Max Jambor, in a post on X, claims the Galaxy S25 event will occur on January 22nd, not January 23rd. This discrepancy may simply be due to time zone differences, with the launch happening on January 22nd in the U.S. and on January 23rd in South Korea. The Galaxy S25 lineup will reportedly include the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, with a fourth device, the Galaxy S25 Slim, rumored to join the lineup at the event.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series processor details
According to tipster Ice Universe in an X post, the Galaxy S25 series globally will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor instead of Samsung’s in-house Exynos processor. Another tipster, Yogesh Brar, supports this leak, on X shares that the entire Galaxy S25 lineup will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, as the Exynos 2500 still requires additional development time.
