The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, is expected to release the next generation of Galaxy Z Flip device later this year. But ahead of any official announcement, we’ve started hearing about the leaks and rumours of the device already. A latest report suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will get a bigger battery compared to the predecessor Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 battery specifications leaked
A report by GalaxyClub reveals that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7’s battery will have a combined rated capacity of 4174mAh. This is going to be a combination of 2985mAh battery (EB-BF767ABY) and 1189mAh (EB-BF766ABY) battery.
For reference, the predecessor of the device, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 had a combined battery capacity of 3887mAh and was marketed as 4000mAh by the brand. Therefore, the company is expected to advertise the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s battery as 4300mAh.
Though there is not a lot difference between the battery capacity of Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 6, an approx 300mAh increase can give noticeable improvements in battery life and stand-by time if the optimization is done correctly.
