The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 event is just around the corner. And now, one of the popular smartphone manufacturers, Tecno has announced its plan to showcase the world’s thinnest smartphone, the Tecno SPARK Slim at the MWC event.
Tecno will showcase its SPARK Slim device at the MWC 2025
Tecno has revealed its plan for MWC 2025 on its official social media handles. The company is planning to showcase the world’s thinnest smartphone, the Tecno SPARK Slim at the event. The device will reportedly measure the thickness of just 5.75mm. However, the crown might not last long with the device as the upcoming iPhone 17 Air is said to be around 5.5m slim.
Tecno has also shared the images of the device, wherein the device’s slimness is being compared with a pencil. The device seems to be having rounded corners and an elongated horizontal camera module.
Despite being a slim smartphone, the Tecno SPARK Slim is said to offer a battery capacity larger than or equal to 5200mAh. The battery unit is said to be around 4.04mm thick and will support upto 45W fast wireless charging. They are able to insert the huge battery into a slim smartphone all because of the new-gen silicon carbon battery tech. It allows more dense storage of energy and therefore allowing the manufacturers to store more energy in same or even less space.
