Apple is finally going to release its new iPhone SE lineup after two years with major upgrades. According to several reports, it seems that iPhone SE 4 will have a notched display along with a single rear camera and a flashlight at the back. The iPhone SE 4 design leaked through spigen cases that gives us our first proper look at its design.
First proper look at the iPhone SE 4’s design
Spigen, the case manufacturing company, accidentally shared the iPhone SE 4’s case on its official website, which revealed its design, confirming a lot of rumors we’ve heard all along. In this leaked image, we can see that the iPhone SE 4 features a single camera on the back.
It also features Face ID and a front camera inside the notch. By looking at the image shared by Spigen, we can say that iPhone SE 4 will have a notched display (although it’s not confirmed).
The iPhone SE 4 has a notch display along with flat edges and a single rear camera. Earlier leaks indicated a Dynamic Island like notch on the iPhone SE 4 but that seems to have been scrapped. The power button is on the left while the volume rockers and the action button are on the right. There doesn’t seem to be a camera control button on the iPhone SE 4.
Some sources still claim that the iPhone SE 4 would feature the Dynamic Island, as seen on the iPhone 16 series. If true, this would be a remarkable upgrade over the iPhone SE 3, which uses a dated iPhone 8 design. Talking about the launch date, Apple hasn’t revealed the launch date yet, but it is expected to be as early as this week, as per Gurman.
iPhone SE 4 Specifications (Expected)
Processor: The iPhone SE 4 model is expected to have an A18 chip like the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.
Display: The device is expected to come with a 6.1-inch OLED display, which will most likely be a Super Retina XDR screen.
Cameras: A 48MP single rear camera and a 24MP front camera is expected on the iPhone SE 4.
Other upgrades: The iPhone SE 4 will most likely get a Type-C port instead of
Lightning port.
