Uber for Teens: How is it beneficial for the teens?
The newly introduced Uber for Teens has many features dedicated towards the safety and well-being of teens aged between 13 and 17 years. First and foremost, it comes with a live trip tracking feature that allows the guardian to locate their teen during the ride. It also notifies the guardian whenever the teen requests and finishes the ride.
For added safety, it comes with an Unexpected Event Alert feature that uses information from sensors and GPS to detect an unusual activity throughout the journey. In case of any unexpected event, the driver will be prompted to ensure that everything is right.
The service also comes with an Auto Audio Recording feature that allows the teen to record the entire journey. The guardian or the parents can also speak directly to the driver using the Uber app. Further, once the teen hits the age of 18, the account will be automatically converted into a standard account.
