Vivo unveiled its self-developed BlueImage camera technology which aims to address social needs in areas like “beauty”, “health” and “productivity”. Vivo’s BlueImage technology will be available in upcoming X series products, possibly in Vivo X100 Ultra the top-end variant of the Vivo X100 series.
Vivo BlueImage Imaging technology details
According to Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Branding at Vivo through Weibo, Vivo announced a new imaging technology brand called BlueImage. This along with their existing technologies from their “Blue Technology Matrix” focuses on improving smartphones. Vivo will also use full high-frequency PWM dimming introduced into the images browsing on the screen.
BlueImage is Vivo’s in-house imaging tech focusing on user-oriented innovation. Vivo’s approach combines “self-research” with “join research” like our partnership with Zeiss. Vivo’s vision extends beyond technical specs, aiming to address social needs in areas like “beauty”, “health” and “productivity”.
Vivo plans to use its BlueImage technology for health applications like early diabetes detection and stroke prediction. Vivo emphasizes that this is just the beginning, with more innovation to come.
Possibly Vivo BlueImage technology will come with the upcoming Vivo X100 Ultra.
