A lot of people were in doubt about the existence on Vivo X Fold 4 device since there were many leaks claiming that Chinese OEMs may not launch its foldable devices this year. DCS later reported that HONOR Magic V4 will be the only foldable to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which further forced us to raise our eyebrows.
Vivo X Fold 4 will pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has reported that Vivo X Fold 4 device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Though he didn’t mention the exact moniker in his post, he refers to the device as a ‘big foldable phone’.
He further says that the smartphone will be ultra-light and thin. It will have a periscope telephoto lens for optical zoom and the resolution of it will be 50-megapixel. It will have a larger battery of around 6,000mAh with the support of wireless charging.
Interestingly, the tipster says that the Vivo X Fold 4 will have a side-fingerprint sensor, which is quite different from the current in-display fingerprint trend. It will have an IPX8 water resistance rating as well.
