After launching Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro mini and Vivo X200 Pro, Vivo will be launching its Ultra flagship, the Vivo X200 Ultra. The brand has recently confirmed the launch of the smartphone in an event.
Vivo X200 Ultra launch timeline and other details
The company officially confirmed the launch during the 2025 Boao Forum for Asia, stating that the device will debut in April 2025 in China. However, an exact launch date is yet to be announced. Vivo has teased that the X200 Ultra will incorporate its latest imaging innovations, suggesting that the smartphone could deliver a significant camera upgrade.
The Vivo X200 Ultra is likely to be accompanied by a Vivo X200s variant. While Vivo has not disclosed details about the latter, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao recently teased the X200s design in a Weibo post. The leaked image suggests that the X200s will maintain a similar design language as the rest of the Vivo X200 series.
Vivo has already revealed some camera details of the X200 Ultra through an official teaser. The camera module will feature a 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor with an 85mm periscope telephoto lens, dual 50MP Sony LYT-818 sensors and a 14mm ultrawide lens.
