WhatsApp recently rolled out an update for its iOS application. The new update adds a ton of features such as document scanning. It is now working on adding a new AI character generation feature to its Android app. This feature was available on Meta’s Instagram and Facebook beforehand. And it is now making its way to the Android app. The feature is currently under development and is being tested.
WhatsApp to add AI character creation feature to its Android app soon
WABetaInfo, in its latest report, reports that WhatsApp is testing a new feature on its WhatsApp Beta for Android. The feature is none other than the AI character creation, which was previously rolled out for iOS users.
The report also mentions that a new separate tab is also coming for this AI character feature. The users will be able to create their very own version of AI characters in the virtual world using this feature. There are thousands of templates available in the AI characters library to choose from. The users can also create an AI character for themselves from scratch if they don’t want one from the library.
The feature is currently under development and is still not accessible for all beta testers, claims the report. It will, therefore, take a considerable amount of time to reach the stable version. Whenever it does, we will report it as soon as possible.
