WhatsApp has been adding a lot of features to its messaging app lately. The company recently added the support of Meta AI, chat theming etc. And now, the company has announced the rollout of a new set of features such as in-app document scanning, video note for channels and much more.
WhatsApp gets tons of new features in a new update
The popular messaging app WhatsApp has added tons of new features to its app. First and foremost, the app now gets an online indicator in the group chat which enables the users to see how many people are online in the group. A new highlight feature is also added to the group. Users can limit notifications for mentions, replies and messages using this feature.
Users can now create events in individual chats. The tappable reaction feature is also live now. Further, the users will be now able to do document scanning and send it to respective users from within the app, eliminating the need of using a third party app got document scanning. Video can be now zoomed in and zoomed out during video calls.
