WhatsApp is working on many new features and the company recently released many useful features on WhatsApp to enhance the user experience. Now the company will no longer support it on some android and iOS devices.
WhatsApp will never work on these devices
According to WhatsApp website, from October 24th WhatsApp will not work on android devices who are running on older version then android OS version 4.1 and on iOS those devices are running on older than iOS 12. On KaiOS those devices are running on KaiOS 2.5.0 and older which is running on the Jio Phone and the Jio Phone 2.
According to WhatsApp, They would send reminder notifications to users in the app in advance multiple times to update their devices. If the user will not update their devices then WhatsApp services will not work on those devices.
