WhatsApp to get advanced chat protection and new calling interface

As per popular WhatsApp insider WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new feature called “Advanced Chat Protection.” Whenever this option is turned on, it will prevent the user from auto saving the media files locally on their devices.

The feature will also prevent the users from exporting chart histories of the users who’ve turned on Advanced Chat Protection. The user won’t be able to interact with Meta AI, given that the option is turned on.

Further, WhatsApp is working on a new calling interface. The new interface will allow the users to turn off the video before joining an incoming video call. Users will be able to decline the call, accept the call, turn off video and then accept the call and send a direct message to the person making the call. This feature can be quite useful is its own use-cases.
