WhatsApp is currently working to bring several features to its platform. Earlier this month, the company rolled out many new features including advanced chat privacy and tappable reaction. A new report suggests that Meta is working to bring a new feature that lets you react to messages and media files by using stickers. Here’s everything you need to know.

WhatsApp will allow you to reach with messages and media files

A new report by WABetaInfos suggests that WhatsApp is currently working to react to messages and media files with stickers. Users can also react to chats or media files using third-party stickers. As of now, WhatsApp allows you to react to messages, documents, or even files using normal emojis from the keyboard.

However, once the company rolls out this feature, users are easily able to react to messages and media files using stickers by navigating to the stickers section which includes the stickers downloaded from the Sticker store on WhatsApp. As mentioned earlier, users can use third-party stickers from the Google Play Store or App store that they have previously saved on the stickers section to react to messages and media files.

The report also indicates that users will be able to use animated stickers when giving a reaction to messages and files alongside emojis reaction. This would be a good move from the company that they are providing more options. The feature is currently under development and will be publicly released in the coming days. But the company hasn’t declared the official timeline about this feature. Stay tuned!
